What's the difference between Clay Bar, Polishing, Waxing, Sealant or Ceramic Coating?

  • Clay bar: there's a common misconception that clay bars will also remove scratches and swirls from the paint. This is not true. Clay bars are purely for removing bonded particles such as: industrial fallout, rail dust, tree sap. clay bar cannot fix an existing damage.

  • Polishing/buffing: helps restore lightly scratched or weathered surfaces by removing a thin layer of damaged paint, resulting in a smooth and restored paint finish.

  • Wax,sealant or ceramic coatings: helps to protect a car's paint job, CANNOT FIX an EXISTING DAMAGE.

  • With proper maintenance, a ceramic coating can last up to 2-5+ years, sealants can last up to 3-6 months, wax up to 1-3 months.

  • The key to retaining the new look of your car is to do regular maintenance.
